State and local governments are being pressed by citizens to provide smarter and easier ways to access information and public services. At the same time, budgeting pressures, especially in California, are making it more important than ever to find innovative ways to offer improved services at lower costs.  Some government agencies are finding better ways leverage IT innovation despite these challenges. How? They’re creating a leaner IT infrastructure that promotes agility and visibility through the elimination of wasteful IT services. This fusion of IT and innovation is enabling agencies to experience an increase in productivity and an improvement in the citizen experience. And by redirecting resources to new IT services, the more agile agencies will be in a better position to take advantage when economic conditions turn around. In this Smart Enterprise Executive Exchange, IT executives and subject-matter experts will discuss with attendees how state and local government agencies can establish a leaner and more responsive IT environment.

Topics of discussion include:

  • The fusion of the IT and innovation to promote agility and growth
  • Leveraging IT efficiencies to refocus on practical and achievable innovation
  • Aligning innovation with ideas for improving the citizen experience
  • Managing risk while still increasing opportunities for innovation
  • Ensuring performance objectives in a high-speed, global environment
